About the Event
(Asheville, NC) Earth Day Asheville, a concert event presented by GreenLife Grocery and Clear Channel Radio, will feature local favorite dance bands Bayou Diesel and Blue Heaven. The concert will be a music and dance party for EVERYONE to celebrate our clean and green future in support of 
The concert, which will raise funds for earth-friendly projects, is scheduled for April 22 from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at The Orange Peel. Tickets are available at The Orange Peel website and at the door. The event is being organized by Asheville GreenWorks, a Keep America Beautiful affiliate.
Asheville GreenWorks, formerly known as Quality Forward, celebrated its 35th Anniversary last year of working for a Clean & Green Asheville and Buncombe County. The organization has been instrumental in enhancing Asheville’s natural beauty and quality of life by planting thousands of trees, beautifying city gateways and neighborhoods, picking up tons of litter from our streets and waterways, and promoting recycling and waste management.
